Olof Åslund
Professor

Olof Åslund is Professor of Economics at Uppsala University and Director of the Uppsala Immigration Lab. He holds a part-time position at IFAU and was previously Director General of the agency (2010-2019). He has also been a member of the Delegation for Migration Studies (Delmi) and research director at SNS.
His research interests include immigration and the labor market, the role of environment and networks in the labor market, and the labor market effects of policies. His research has been published in several international journals and he has also co-authored a large number of popular books, reports and articles.
