Simon Ek
Ph.D
Simon Ek works as a researcher at IFAU and is also affiliated with the Uppsala Center for Labor Studies (UCLS). He defended his dissertation at Uppsala University in 2023, titled "Structural Change, Match Quality, and Integration in the Labor Market." Simon's research concerns the consequences for workers following changes in labor demand across occupations, how suited workers with varying characteristics are for different jobs/tasks, wage formation, the labor market integration of immigrants, and active labor market policy.
