How to improve school results? Policy design, implementation and evaluation

The Institute for Evaluation of Labour Market and Education Policy (IFAU) and Uppsala Center for Labor Studies (UCLS) invited researchers and policy makers to a conference on the topic How to improve school results? Policy design, implementation and evaluation. The purpose of the conference was to provide an opportunity for scholars and Swedish policy makers to meet and discuss how school results can be improved and how education policy can be implemented in order to allow for systematic evaluation.

Day one of the conference was devoted to invited lectures and a discussion among policy makers and researchers about implementation and evaluation of school policies. The second day was a workshop devoted to research papers related to school improvement.
